I feel most alive when I am

Freedom to wander, capture the moments, and sometimes, “live to tell the tale” is quite fitting. I take photos to live beyond the moment, and then so does that pride of lions, laughing child, stunning landscape, newly engaged couple, or Mom to Be. What I appreciate about photos are their inherent power to elicit feelings without saying a word.

Hi! I’m Nicole Cicogna, the Owner & Founder of She Goes With Gratitude LLC, a travel site and community for women who dare to soul seek rather than sightsee—to inspire them to travel the world with confidence, nourish their soul, and grow with gratitude. Having encountered the world through my lens, I have captured a diverse cross-section of people, cultures, and landscapes. My camera has been witness to indigenous tribes in Panama, the Big Five on the Serengeti, silverback gorillas in Rwanda, and the hills of Tuscany. After 25 years, I resigned from my executive career and decided to pursue a life that allows me to be my most authentic self. (Bold and risky, I know!) Now a full-time photographer and travel writer, I explore continents and countries documenting my experiences. But I wanted to share my photography on a more personal level, so in addition to She Goes With Gratitude, I have created Gratitude Photos. This will be the new home for my professional photography. Here we will connect on your vision, whether it’s for your engagement, Mom’s 75th birthday, or your beautiful children. My job is to realize that vision through photos.

Enhanced photos draw focus to the subject. See how soft filters, vibrant colors, or the power of black and white can change the tone and mood of a photo. Slide the arrows back and forth to see the difference.
